Breach the day
Break the dawn with a single word
That you will never say
Except when you are so alone
Surround yourself with nothing
But the dark
And wink to a mirror,
To the sound of sparks
The beating wings of butterflies
Breaking down like your tongue's cries
As its wrapped with mine
You hide secrets in your lungs
But I'll wrestle the truth from out your tongue
Honestly
I see nothing wrong with a lie
Unless you wrap me up in them
The cacoon you claim won't sink in sand
But the hourglass tips
Spilling from out my hand
Tied and turn with secrets spun
My hands are far too worn
The beating wings of butterflies
Breaking down like you tongues cries
As its wrapped with mine
You breath the scent from out your lungs,
Of the Rose of Flesh and Blood
